Anybody out there with a pug that has skin problems?
TangTang asked:
I don’t know if pugs all over the world suffer with skin problems or just in Taiwan due to the humidy. Doesn’t matter what I do it always comes back. I’ve changed vets many times, but I try to trust the current one. They say that it will never really be cured. I cannot take it when she needs injections and antibiotics every other month. Someone told me about omega 3. Will it really help her and what about NZymes? I will do anything to help my baby feel better. Pug owners please help with suggestions.

BARF. Bones And Raw Foods. Kibble is linked to sensitive skin. My dog did and he isn’t a pug. He’s no longer having skin problems due to the diet. And he’s much healthier.
Give her this supplement, and don’t feed her any dog food with corn, wheat or soy>
I am a pug breeder. Pugs can have lots of allergies. Most of them have to do with food. Wheat is the #1 allergen with corn being the #2 problem. Start with eliminating these things from his diet (check your food labels and treat labels).
Most of the skin problems are due to food allergies. Something for you to look into is vaccinations. People who have high IgE levels have allergies. Dogs have been tested after vaccinations and been found to have high IgE levels. The duration of immunity on vaccinations are many, many years. Do some reseach on this. Here’s a couple of sites to get you started.
