Can meerkats develop skin problems?
For example like skin cancer or sun burns. I am doing a presentation in front of class tomorrow so this is urgent. I’ll be looking it up at the same time I just thought more eyes and brains are better than one. PLEASE HELP ME!

How do I even out my skin tone?
I’m an Asian boy with skin problems. When I was six, I’ve noticed that the skin color on my buttocks is a bit darker than the rest of my body. It’s not normal but I’ve seen others with the same problem. Aren’t buttocks supposed to be lighter than the rest of your skin, especially because they get the least sun exposure? How come some people have this condition? I don’t think this is psoriasis because psoriasis looks worse. How do I get rid of this condition? I want to wear trunks to the beach!
My cat has been having skin problems on her neck. Help?
I have been mysteriously finding irritated dime-sized patches of skin on my cat, Aliyah’s, neck. It’s little spots where there is no longer any fur, and they are very red and sometimes bleeding a little. She had about three of them a week ago, but they started heeling and now just look like pale scars, but today i discovered that she has another on her neck now. I don’t know what’s happening and can’t afford to take my poor kitty to the vet. Any suggestions on whats wrong?
miniture pinscher skin problems?
My Miniature pinscher has a skin problem. We took him to the vet lots of times.Well his skin is flaky smelly and sweaty its really gross. He scratches constantly.Is there anything we can do. We give him baths 2 times a week.He has a blaenced diet also.Help…and thank you.
Skin problems in dogs?
My dog has skin problems and ive tried everything. I stopped giving him human food and cheap dog food and switched him over to blue wilderness the salmon kind. Its a good dog food and i just bought him it today but i dont really think its going to help his skin problems. I went to the vet and all he said was its probably the food hes eating try to find out what hes allergic too. I thought maybe it was the grains and corn in the cheap dog food so i switched over today. Do you think it will help and if so how long until i see results? Hes always rubbing his face on the floor and biting at his paws and inside his legs. Hes a white pitbull and his skin looks like this but alot more red and irritated. Hes always getting ear infections also.

Cant the vet get some testing done to pinpoint what hes allergic too? If so how much will all this cost? I live in Canada and i just spent 8 grand on my other dog because he had lymphoma cancer. I also cleaned my house like crazy.

ive had people telling me that i should start using proper skin-care lotion and cleansers. plus anti-aging lotions and etc.
the problem is, i dont know what kind of lotions and cleansers i should use. i most def. want to find an anti-aging lotion or whatever but i dont know what is good to use.
Why do I have so many skin problems?
I have Keritosis Pilaris, Rosacea, very dry skin on my hands, and also mild acne. Could this be a problem in my diet or what?
Can homeopathy help for hormonal skin problems?
I’m 17 years old now. I started getting skin problems about 3 years ago. My doctor prescribed temporary antibiotics, but it came back when I stopped using the antibiotics. Then he prescribed Yasmin, and later I switched to Yaz. This has been working well for my skin, but when I started getting problems with my contactlenses, I did some research and found that it can be the Yaz. Also I discovered that it contains this ingredient drospirenone. And apparently this is really bad for you and can cause all kinds of health problems including heart disease, pulmonary embolism, etc. Although most other birth control pills don’t have this ingredient, I just want to leave the pills altogether as they all have negative side effects.
Are there homeopathic methods or treatments that could help with this? Or what is the safest pill with the least side effects? E.g. I don’t all of a sudden want to start gaining weight.
@ Danny. Uhm, clearly you don’t really know what you’re talking about. A few years back my sister got a terrible rash that covered her whole body with big red itchy dots. We went to many different doctors and spent immense amounts of money on creams, pills, blood tests and anything else doctors suggested. None of this helped and it continued for several weeks, and then, as a last resort, we went to a homeopath. He just looked in her eyes, gave her a few seeds and oils and it was gone within 2 days.
Also my skin problem has to do with hormones, not with my diet or my face wash, I’ve been to a doctor.
And by the way you actually didn’t answer the questions which are:
1. Are there homeopathic methods which could help with this
2. What is the safest pill with the least side effects
Rather only answer questions when you have a positive and useful contribution to make.
Why have I been having problems with dry skin after showering at my apartment but not at my parents’ house?
I take a reasonably hot shower and at my apartment which uses city water. I get dry skin afterward when at home after washing with well water and I turn out fine. I installed a water filter on the shower head and it doesn’t seem to do anything to help. Does anyone have any experience with this that can help find a solution?
