Can I become a makeup artist by taking a skin care/spa training course?

I want to be a makeup artist. The cosmetology courses all offer only mostly hair training. So a few people have told me to try skin care courses. I’m not sure if you can be hired as a makeup artist with a skind care degree.

I think you need an esthetician’s license…….. check with Voc schools that offer this course. It’s only a couple months, and then you’re licensed to do it.
