Cat with problem skin disorder?

Sounds like you already know the answer, allergies. Dont let her out onto the enclosure, keep her as a strictly indoor cat and see what happens. Jon
It is totally possible that she has a allergy to something that blooms in the summer, or to a insect bite. That being said, my one little girl cat had always had summer dermatitis. hair loss, red skin, little bumps. Never saw her itch it, but she did love it when we itched or scratched her there. the vet said it was likely a allergy to fleas and had us put her on frontline. that worked for a month and the bumps returned… It was only during the summer months that she got it. All winter long her skin was fine and her coat full though alittle stiff and spiky.
this spring my other cat had a issue with urinary crystals and a UTI, which prompted a change of diet from dry ( super premium) food to canned food. And since its far easier to feed both the same diet, she got the wet food to. In 3 months her fur has softened, skin has cleared up, no bumps, no itchies… A holistic vet here thinks her problem was a food allergy that was aggitated by pollen. Her take on things is that most allergies in pets are manifested by skin outbreaks and problems and the number 1 cause of allergies is dietary. You might want to investigate her diet and make sure she isnt getting alot of carbs, grains, rice or soy in her current food. My turtle “Rock”
