JAREDLETO411 asked:

The appearance of cellulite is caused by fibrous bands under your skin that result in the lumpy looking texture. How can lotions and creams remove the appearance of the fibrous bands under your skin? Also, doesn’t working out increase the appearance of cellulite as your skin tries to tighten? Or is it possible to even lose weight when you have cellulite? How can you lose fat when there are fatty deposits that have become hardend under your skin?

Does taking protein drinks help to tighten loose skin?Even without exercising?Because not all people have the time to exercise & surgery is out of the question…Firming lotions does not have much effect..I only eat low carbohydrate meal daily & there is not much protein in it either.I drink lots of water though

Not asked:

How fast can one lose weight without really having to worry about having sagging excess skin (that, imo, is even more unattractive than just being fat in the first place)?

I’m a 22-year-old male, 5′ 8″ and I weigh 270lbs. I’d like to lose about 100 lbs.

What would be a safe pace so as to avoid having extra skin and requiring surgery to have it removed?

Thanks!

What do I eat and drink and not eat and drink to avoid skin problems?

I am currently dieting. I watched a special last night about a (formerly) morbidly obese gentleman who underwent the gastric bypass surgery and lost nearly 500lbs, but his loose skin still made him appear quite overweight. I’m planning on losing 100lbs over the next year (I really let myself go after I quit my first job awhile back). Will loose skin be a problem when I’m done? I’d almost rather be fat than look like a deflated balloon.

Can drinking too much soda give you skin problems? And too much chocolate give you pimmples?

I have been wanting to know if this is scientific. I have heard people say that it is true.

Aside from loose skin, what problems do people get when they lose 100+ lbs?

I’m talking about people who took a healthy diet and exercize program and recovered from morbid obesity. Aside from the loose hanging skin, what other physical problems are they likely to have after the weight comes off?

Is it possible for a woman in her early 20’s lose 40 pounds without having that skin problem?

I mean when the skin doesn’t come back and stays like a sort of extra skin. I gained weight because I was depressed now I am eating healthy and working out very very hard. Do you think I can get thin again without that skin problem?

I started lifting weights and doing push ups and I started to get really dry and itchy skin on my biceps.

Also, I started using these forearm grips and the skin on my knuckles started to get really dry, hard and scaly, like reptile skin. It even started to bleed a tiny bit because the skin was tearing.

Is this normal? I’m starting to get worried.
