My boxer is having skin problems?
he has a pink looking rash on his chest (where there is white fur) and dark and dry bald spots on his back. he is about a year old. what should i do??
miniture pinscher skin problems?
My Miniature pinscher has a skin problem. We took him to the vet lots of times.Well his skin is flaky smelly and sweaty its really gross. He scratches constantly.Is there anything we can do. We give him baths 2 times a week.He has a blaenced diet also.Help…and thank you.
Skin problems in dogs?
My dog has skin problems and ive tried everything. I stopped giving him human food and cheap dog food and switched him over to blue wilderness the salmon kind. Its a good dog food and i just bought him it today but i dont really think its going to help his skin problems. I went to the vet and all he said was its probably the food hes eating try to find out what hes allergic too. I thought maybe it was the grains and corn in the cheap dog food so i switched over today. Do you think it will help and if so how long until i see results? Hes always rubbing his face on the floor and biting at his paws and inside his legs. Hes a white pitbull and his skin looks like this but alot more red and irritated. Hes always getting ear infections also.

Cant the vet get some testing done to pinpoint what hes allergic too? If so how much will all this cost? I live in Canada and i just spent 8 grand on my other dog because he had lymphoma cancer. I also cleaned my house like crazy.

Year and a half old dog skin problems?
I have a year and a half old beautiful wolf hybrid dog who has been having bad itching/skin problems for about a month now. He started out itching alot, behind the legs, stomach, and ears, and now he has no fur and itched himself raw underneath on his stomach, and also between his legs. Along his chest he has little bump-like scabs almost like bites in a way, but I know he doesnt have fleas or anything. He got neutered about two and a half months ago.
I’ve put two quilts down in his cage and a heater to keep him warm in his room (my two dogs have their own room).
Could someone PLEASE help me out here? I have no money to spend on vets right now, so don’t suggest it. And yes, if it worsens any more I will take him in anyway. I’m just hoping for some good suggestions?
miniature schnauzer skin problems?
My mom has a miniature schnauzer with red itchy skin we have taken him to the vet and they just keep giving him cortisone shots but that dosent help what else could it be?

I am interested in buying a westie but i keep hearing about skin problems that cost a lot of money to take care of. Can anyone explain to me how they get this and how to possibly prevent it because i can’t afford to pay for these types of problems.
Dog with skin problems?
I am looking after my brothers Jack Russel while he is on holiday. She is a lovely little thing but she is constantly scratching and rubbing herself raw by dragging herself along the carpet.
She had been to the vet on numerous occasions, she does not have fleas or mites (she has had skin scrapings taken) and the vet concludes its stress related - she does get worse if she goes into kennels etc, which is why she now stays with us. They did try diets recommend by the vets which didn’t work which is why he is convinced its stress.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any skin regime that I can suggest my brother and his family follow to stop her itching so much? I currently have her on Serenum, a herbal ‘calmer’ to see if that calms her down a bit which in theory will then stop her getting stressed and therefore not so itchy.
Any advice please?
My brother has no carpets in his house, only wooden floors and the dog is bathed in Tea Tree Oil dog shampoo when she needs bathing. She is on a chicken and rice diet suggested by the vet. She has been this way since she was a puppy but it gets worse in certain situations which leads the vet to conclude it is stress related.
