Why does my Cystic Fybrosis create skin problems?

But I am not really comfortable with my face like this. And my mom doesn’t really make me feel comfortable talking about this stuff. I want to get rid of it. But first I need to know what the real problem with it is.
What procedures would help? Any thing I can do myself?
Oh, and the doctors, when my mom first asked(when it showed up originally) they said it was dead blood cells caused to die by my coughing. They didn’t explain anything more.
Can anyone help?
