He may have a condition called Rosacea (Not sure of the spelling). I know someone else who has that, but I’m not sure what he uses to treat it…go to the doctor about it OTGurl

My boyfriend has it too. I don’t know what it is and he has had it his whole life. He lotions his nose everyday. He uses Olay Body Quench. He says it works !!! Even better than my Mary Kay!!! Stephanie B

consider it a possible food allergy, look up ‘Celiac’ disease on the web Tom B

I get flaky skin just around the nostrils. At night, in addition to my regular night cream I also use cocoa butter on that area. It looks greasy, but it’s only at night, and helps with the flakes and the redness. smartsassysabrina

i get that often. especially when the air is really dry. it could be skin allergies or he may have really sensitive skin. i’ve both. it’s probably a form of contact dermatitis, in which case prescriptions are needed. i have really mild eczema and i get it in little patches like the one by my nose. don’t peel it, the skin will get more raw and that hurts a lot. does he have dry skin in his eyebrows or scalp? b/c it’s a good possibility that it’s eczema or psoriasis. it’s not urgent but it’s very annoying and painful. best thing see a doc. eucerin lotion is amazing i’ve also seen results from Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturizing Lotion. it absorbs quickly and isn’t greasy or scented, and it’s a lot cheaper than eucerin(about $6 compared to about $2). cetaphil soap works great too. no scents/dyes, specially made for sensitive skin wanderingmuse8
