Does anyone know why my stomach itches sometimes on surface of the skin but no rashes or skin problems?
Humphrey asked:
It feels like its over top of the ab muscles and right below the skin layer. Right where the stomach fat is located at. It itches not all the time but periodically. What is that all about?

Nope, but I’ve got it, too. Are you using a laptop? David in Richmond
I get itchy abdomen quite a bit, but I think it’s because I had a c-section and my nerves are regenerating (I was numb before, so I guess this is a step in the right direction). You didn’t have surgery on your abdomen did you? I personally know 2 people who had skin itching and no rash. One has never found the reason why she itches, but she hasn’t really looked that hard. The other found out that she has an allergy to copper I think. It was some metal that was found in food and when she stopped eating that metal the itching stopped. How long have you been itchy? If it hasn’t been that long, it’s probably just random. If it’s been awhile, I would look into allergies. I have discovered recently that food and environmental allergies can have all kinds of weird symptoms. I had migraines and I found out that it was linked to dairy allergy. Itchiness is a fairly common symptom of food allergies, even if it’s just in one location. indiechick
