Does my dog have a skin problem ?

I would have a vet check him out to make sure everything is okay… if he was just scratching, I wouldn’t worry; but since his skin is discolored, he has sores and is losing hair, I’d let the vet diagnose and treat this one. Good luck! Amy
You definitely need a vet visit ASAP. He’s going to need oral medication to fix this. Sounds like a severe allergy, infection or mange (which are mites in the skin). You need a correct diagnosis in order to treat correctly. KimbeeJ
some dos are born with bad skin take him or her to the vet and maybe find out if a medical shapoo might work!good luck!

if he is already starting to lose hair, its not a simple flea problem..the vet gave me Dexamethasone for my dogs..try to ask your vet for the possible treatment asap.. mr
go to the vet…could be bitten by insects or he’s got ezema..keep his sleeping area clean and feed him with only quality dry food and lots of water.. melvyn song
Have you put any frontline on him at all?? I wonder if he has fleas I have seen them make a dog go crazy like that.
Okr just give him a good oatmeal bath and see if that helps him at all. Justsomegirl
