skin problems
B asked:

I’m almost 30 and I still battle with acne, not terribly, but get the odd zit popping up at the worst possible times. But, I also have dry skin and even have fine lines starting to show on my forehead and near my eyes. If I use moisturizer, I break out. If I treat the acne, I dry out. I’ve bought a combination face wash and it dries me out too. I’m always being told by my close friend that I need to use lotion because I look dry, but as soon as I do, I’m dealing with zits. I’d rather dry than zitty…. but really, it’s not attractive. Any products that you can recommend??? My zits don’t necessarity break out in the t-zone, they pop up wherever and whenever. HELP!

make sure you drink lots of water, and find a lotion thats safe and doesnt clog pores, try the clearasil mosturizer.

Be lucky.. your skin is still young..buy a cleanser and toner for dry skin, apply it both morning and night, then buy a zit cream.. any that you can leave over night, wash it off in the morning and they should be gone in 3-5 days!

I’m 22 and battling acne, and honestly I had to get on medicated prescriptions because all that stuff in the store broke me out also, i couldn’t use any of that stuff, i believe that stuff is for people with normal skin. What is odd is that you have dry skin and acne, I have very oily skin which is the cause of my acne, but i use Dove unscented to wash my face and use my prescriptions/ I have tried everything even Proactive, and nothing seems to work. the prescriptions do dry my face out, but you have to be careful with putting lotion on your face because you might have sensitive skin. you might want to see a dermatologist but i’m quite sure you already have, but they can suggest some lotions for your skin type because everyone skin is different; i can’t put anything on my face without it breaking out
