I’ve heard of this before, she could have mange, a terrible disease where her skin gets very unhealthy. Get her some dandruff shampoo and give her a nice sponge bath. After that groom her. Do this every week and she should feel a whole lot better. I’ll pray for her! Go goldens! Mariah-Rose M
If what the vet gave your dog did not work give your vet a call and ask him if it could possibly your dogs diet, or maybe a skin allergy. you say your dog sleeps with you may you laundry detergent may be irritating his skin. What was the dog diagnosed with?? What is that medication? I did a search and it didn’t come up. What you’ve described can be due to many things, including a hormonal problem. You should take your dog to a veterinary dermatologist for a proper diagnosis. That’s the only way you’re going to get any help. Anything answered here on this forum is just guessing. Truly, the list is just endless as to what it can be and each thing has it’s own treatment. Do you have a university near you that has a veterinary department? You can often find veterinary dermatologists there and you can check the internet and your phone book for a specialist in your area. Chi_Mom
