I had a coworker tell me that a grayish tint to the skin could mean heart problems, is this true?

Thanks for your help,

I should say that the coworker was not referring about me, a lady at work fainted and he said she had a grayish tint to her skin.

Maybe. Do you have cold fingers and toes? I’d see a doctor. You may have poor circulation. It could be a heart issue. Jeff A
Fainting (syncope) and pale skin can both be indicative of heart problems, among other things.
Your co-worker should definitely see a doctor about it, to get a full cardio checkout. Mark M
If someone is gray or blue, then they need to get help ASAP. It could be that their heart isn’t work well, that their blood isn’t carrying oxygen as well as it should be, the lungs could be impaired resulting in the body not getting enough oxygen, or they may have taken some kind of drug that would effect the efficiency of their lungs, heart, and/or blood. That would be sorted-out in the ER.
Once in the hospital, the person would have blood drawn, get a chest x-ray, have pulse oximetry done (oxygen saturation measurement), get an EKG, and be put on oxygen to bring their color back with it is being assessed. James S
