It would be best to have him examined by your vet
There are many reasons and conditions that can affect the skin and it is best to have them examined by a professional. The right diagnosis is of utmost importance so that the correct medications can be administered and work effectively. As all humans are not the same and do not or may not react the same way, the same goes for canines as each is different in their reactions to different objects, their surroundings and even whether or not they have allergies.
No one on here can properly diagnose any condition for any pet through description and or photos, it is best to have them examined in person by a veterinarian.
It is better to be on the safe side and always take your pet to the vet if you have any concerns or questions.
Also you should take your pet at the very first signs that something is not normal in his/her appearance or the way that they are acting, never wait a day let alone a month to find medical attention for your dog and never ask on YA for something that should be addressed with a vet.
Food for thought ;;;; The very time you have a thought that something isn’t right with your pet is your first time to think of calling your vet. Sheri
It could be anything so what you need to do is take him to a vet and get the proper diagnosis for him and have him treated. You should not have let it go for a month either. It could also be a thyroid problem, which Boxers are prone to have. We are not vets, can not see what he looks like so take him to the vet.
Good luck. MANDYLBH
