use lotsa lotsa moisturising lotion.
i would recommend nivea, the one with the intensifying milk. it works well for me.
or if ur desperate use baby oil on ur skin.
do all this right after shower so that the moisture from the water will be trapped in the skin. vainybaby
use nivea (it’s lotion) it really works on dry skin Q the genius
Try Ponds Cold Cream (geen cap). It is used to remove make-up and residue on the face, however, I find it does wonders on my hands and feet. It will lock in moisture overnight and through the day. blucille2003
Use thick skin creams, look at the ingredients and do not use it if the first ingredient is water, because that could dry your skin out more. Use thick creams every day, and within five minutes of getting out of the bath or shower, whcih helps seal in moisture. Also dont use oils, they initially moisturize a lot, then dry out quickly.
Also before you put on lotion use a body scrub with essential oils in it.
I reccomend udder cream, originally meant for use on dry, cracked cow udders, you can find it at drugstores and it makes a GREAT lotion. mixedcalichik
- visit a dermatologist.
- avoid the sun. Drinks 8 to 10 glasses of water a day.
- if you’re out in the sun, use some sunscreen with SPF 30 or more
- Eat your cereal in the morning (must have fibre) and try to move your bowels at least 3 to 4 times a week.
- Take a shower, try and keep yourself clean. do_I_care_less?
it may be over treated. Don’t use make-up or cleanser for awhile - just use water (lukewarm). Moisturise frequently and drink insane amounts of water betsyjones
IMO lotions are a waste of money. All you need to do is the following:
- After washing that part of your skin and drying it, pour and rub it with distilled water. Dry it if you wish, but do it enough only to remove water droplets.
- Get a few drops of olive oil and rub that part of your skin with it. Don’t put too much so that your skin glistens with oil, all you need is a few drops to coat your skin lightly. You have applied the right amount when your skin feels soft, but does not shine.
You can even do the first part without distilled water, filtered water would be ok as well. Bioled water however is NOT ok.
If you do this for a month or so your skin should improve. Don’t worry about the smell, it goes away after a few seconds. theTruthSeeker
u can use a lot of lotions when u make your own combination it wrks well ilovemusic3321
a good body butter will help that problem, i know i have the same type skin, use the body butter often, especially when you get out of the shower, since body butter is to big to carry in your purse buy a small bottle of johnsons baby lotion you can even use that on your face and it never clogs pores. the best place to buy body butter is at bath and body works, try it, it really does work!!!! moe
