Hello, I have a Chinese water dragon and his skin has been brown for a while now. Not very brown. But a kinda lightish. Brown is this a problem or is this just shedding he has only shed his tail so far and from what I’ve heard it takes a while for them to shed( he’s 1 year old).

  1. Scarlet says:

They shed a lot, he is probably just shedding. He should be plenty healthy as long as you have a UVA/UVB light on him as well as a spot lamp. Also as long as your feeding him plenty of protein (live crickets, mealworms, superworms, waxworms) he should be just fine. The shedding is completely normal. Scarlet
