My cousin’s dog has a skin problem, what should we do?
rmsvball04 asked:
My cousin’s dog has something that looks like warts underneath his chin. Any suggestions about what to do? We just noticed it today, and we are both really worried. If you can find any websites, please please please put it in as your source(s)! Thanks in advance for all your help!!!!!

I think you need to take this dog to see a vet… They will be able to tell you what it is and give you some cream to help with it..No one other then a vet can help you..sry. pierced_chick123
Are you sure it’s not puppy acne? A Great Dane Lady
dogs can get many skin deseases.i would suggest an emiediet visit to the vet.
ps.it can also be worms. saifromda9_byblood
hehehe. It’s nothing serious! Trust me!! My dog (german short hair pointer) has gotten those a lot. I took her to the vet thinking it was something bad and the vet giggled and said it was like acne. It’s really normal.. Just google it and you will feel soo much better knowing it’s not something bad. I’ll try looking for a site and let you know what I come up with
Found A site!!! Megz
Its more than likely puppy acne, my pup had it at 4 months, i took her to the vet and they gave a special shampoo, she also had it on her belly. You have a bathe them once a week, but after about 1.5 months it worked, she has puppy acne no more!!..As for the chin area, make sure you dont get shampoo in thier mouth. There is also a ointment you can get from the vet that helps with skin irritation, maybe its not warts/puppy acne. My girl had a irritation on her ear flaps, 2 treatments of ointment and it was gone overnight, but i still use the ointment 2x day and she in is anitbiotics for the skin irritations. So if you do get meds, please follow the directions, if you stop the treatment in the middle or dont finish meds, the problem will more than likely come back!! goapple_goorange
