Our non-neutered Pom pees our Pom that is. The second dog has TERRIBLE skin problems. What should we do?
Betty N asked:
I think the non-neutered dog is marking his territory, but how do we stop him from peeing on the other dog. We let them go out separately sometimes. The second dog has, ongoing, serious skin problems. We wash him with a medicated shampoo, but that only freshens him up for a little while. I should probably get some Vet RX for him. Trying to take care of it on our own doesn’t seem to be working. Any natural remedies out there?
Thanks in Advance!

how about having him neutered and taking the other one to the vet to figure out why he has bad skin. could be allergies could be a thyroid issue.
Get the dog who pees neutered and take the other one to the vet to see exactly what is causing it’s skin problems. He may have a yeast infection or a bacterial infection of the skin.He probably needs oral antibiotics or antifungals and a shot of cortisone to stop his itching, poor thing. So,vet is best!
