I need some help with my acne/skin problems?
i have some acne and pimples, i dont think my skin is oily or dry or sensitive i just think it is a natural thing i dont know if there is anything i can do about it but i would love some help because i feel less confidant because of it any brands or products would be very helpful
Is my new medication causing my skin to dry out?
I’ve recently started the pill (Brand: Levlen) and a muti-vitamin called “Tresos B”.
Also the skin on my cheeks and around my jaw line have recently been going incredibly dry and cracked. I was wondering if this could have anything to do with my new medication as I’ve never ever suffered dry skin problems before! I’ve also had acne prone oil skin!
I want to smoke cigarettes so bad but I can’t due to major skin problems.How can people smoke?
I smoked cigarettes for the past 10 years and have dealt with acne and skin redness and oil problems for the past ten years. My skin is fine now with post acne scars and my skin doesnt look too bad but it makes me look 33 instead of being 23. I have been jealous of people who smoke as much cigarettes as they want and dont have to even worry for a second about acne…..If I smoke a cigarette, my skin gets very oily to the point its disgusting to look at in the mirror. On bad days oil gets clogged in my nose and my nose is red like rudolph the reindeer. I get acne….Itchy acne and obnoxious acne. My skin gets red as if I look like a redneck…
Is this abnormal? I feel like its only me that has these issues. I know I can benefit from not smoking but I wish I could smoke…..I miss smoking so much not because its a drug but just having it made me happy but depressed when dealing with acne….
causes of bad skin problems?
my son has had jsut about every skin problem you can think of…
from the time he hit puberty he has had severe acne, blackheads, lots of moles, flaky skin, weird colorations and blemishes on the skin, oily scalp, warts, cysts, bald spots in his facial hair, etc, etc…
yet he had none of them when he was a child….
i just find all these things to be very suspicious….does he just have bad luck>>> or is there an internal cause of all these?? something isn’t right on the inside which is causing this?? chemically?? hormonally???

He told me that he found two things that could help him. Fraxel laser resurfacing and laser skin resufacing. One cost more then the other. another than that. What is the difference?
How can I fix these skin/makeup problems?
I have really conflicting skin problems and I’m not sure what to do. I had really bad acne from ages like, 10 to 13, and I’m 14 now. I don’t really get a lot of pimples anymore, but I still have little red spots and some scars.
Anyway, I have pretty dry skin and it’s tight after I wash it, normal after I use moisturizer, then it gets really dry after I put foundation and powder on. But after a few hours of going from dry to normal, after about 6 hours it looks gross from my skin getting oily, and re-applying powder. My face gets flakey sometimes from being dry, yet other times I have trouble with my pores from it getting oily. It’s really annoying. My skin just doesn’t look like nice, most kids my age, even if they have acne, their actual skin just still looks young and healthy, but mine just, I don’t know, it doesn’t look like that.
My basic routine is, I wash my face twice a day, once in the morning, and once before I go to bed. I use Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser, Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner, Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizer, in that order. At night, I also use raw honey and cinnamon on my face, and when I need to exfoliate I (gently) use sugar. For makeup I use a little bit of Almay Clear Complexion Foundation, and Covergirl Clean Pressed compact powder throughout the day. Is there anything I could be doing differently?
Oh also, I’ve already asked my mom if she could make me an appoinment with a dermatologist, but apparently we don’t have the money right now, so yeah. >.<
Acne help? Skin problems?
Okay so i need advice on products for skin problems.
- Okay so i have blackheads around the nose and chin area. Whats good for that??
- Also whats good for removing dead skin and shrink size of pores? (also unclogging pores)
- Also i have lots of post acne marks ( like this little red marks and dents in my skin) What can you do for that? Nothing every seems to work. So should i go to the dermatologist? Or is a chemical peel better? Where you get a chemical peel anyways lol?
- Also what helps acne better clean and clear or neutrogena or something else? ( which products are good ?
- Basically i want skin that clear , shiny, smooth , soft, and flawless.
( i use neutrogena wash and neutrogena benzoyl peroxide now)

i have dry skin so why do i have acne problems?
i am a 19 year old female who is vegan, i drink at least 1-2 gallons of water a day, green tea 4-6 cups a day..so i know my skin problem isnt my diet. ..but ok, i have acne problems as i’ve said…how is someone with dry skin supposed to fight acne when skincare products classify “acne prone skin” with “oily” skin…i do not have oily skin, but i do get acne. and most of my acne is under my skin.. like my skin is smooth as a babys butt but i have acne when you look at my face…wtf?can someone help me out. I am more of a home remedy type of girl but i wondered how a dry skin person can have “acne prone” skin if my face is never ever oily?

I have acne problems all over my face and a very oily skin, but when I use soaps/ face wash for oily skin, I end up having an excessively dry skin. I am 17 yr old. Any one knows what the problem is and how I can cure it??
