what type if makeup should i use for problem skin?

I have a few problem areas on my skin it’s not horrible but it’s there. So, what’s the best makeup to use for this type of skin.
Oh, and I have oily skin around my nose.

I’ve tried mac and bare minerals and they don’t work for me, and I have tried applying my makeup in different ways.
