I have some sort of wart viral infection on the top joint of my index finger which I have tried to remove with salicylic acid and then filing off the dead skin. I proceeded with the treatment for 2 months and all I have seemed to do is make it worse, whenever I file the dead skin off it just grows back more!? I tried a wart freezer as well and that didn’t work either. Is there anything I can use to get rid of the unsightly buildup of dead skin and the wart? Thanks.

My cat has a skin problem. By chance does any one know what it could be, or how I can help her?

A family of three share a 4 year outdoor cat.
She spends at least 5 hrs a day outside, on are acre of land.
Last night she came in with something on her scalp that appears to be dandruff.
But it hurts her when I or some one else tries to pull the dead skin (as it appears to be) off of her.
I am not sure what this may be or how I may help.
Could it be PI?

Is my dermatologist right on facial skin care?

Fluffy ♥ asked:

My dermatologist told me that when the skin on our face becomes dry and flaky, we should NOT apply moisteriser as that makes the flakes of dead skin stick back down and clogs the pores. Instead, she said it is better to apply nothing to the face that night, so the skin can renew itself or to apply a very light serum. I was astonished as I thought the answer to dry flaking skin was to moisterise. Is she right or is she talking nonsense? I thought a serum moisterised anyway?

I heard it is from someone. That no other products really come close to it. I have some dead skin just under my eyes and i need to get rid of it, to exfoliate it. I am trying to find a good product, but that friend said to try Aveeno.

Anyone else used Aveeno products that worked really good?
