Skin problem?

About a week ago, I was out on the beach for a few days and got slightly sunburned on my forearms. It wasn’t bad, but it was definitely burned. About two days after I got the sunburn, it started to itch, and a rash/small bumps started to appear on my arms. If I itched them, the rash got worse. What is this? Is it something to be concerned about? I don’t burn very often. I have darker skin, so I usually just tan. But has anyone had this problem before or know what it is?

I’ve had KP on my arms since I was 4 and it’s really starting to annoy me now that I’m older. It’s mostly on my forearms but there’s some on my upper arms too. It’s so embarrassing, because no matter how many times I tell people that they can’t catch it, they don’t believe me. Help? And, since I don’t even know, what is KP actually?
