Is it true that lemon juice & aspirin help skin problems?

I read in an answer on Y!A that dissolving an aspirin in some lemon juice helps skin problems like acne. But no details were given in the answer. Does anyone know this process & can provide more details, such as amounts, & how often, & do you leave it on your face or wash it off after some time? Any other home remedies for adult acne problems? (Other then toothpaste!)

What skin-lightening product should I use to lighten my face?
