White Boxer with Bad Skin Problems?

I have put him on a heavy protien diet, like the vet said, and I also give him treats. The doctor said that I should try to bulk him up, cause the stuff makes him lose weight. He almost looks like he has worms most of the time.
This is so hard.
I took the advice of one of the answerers, and I took him to another vet. They put him on another medicine, one that I apply once every three weeks. The price is $20 per dose. He is already starting to look better!!

i dont think its mange because my other dogs dont have it and it doesnt seem to itch the puppies they dont scratch at it …idk
