Heather asked:

I was watching the health channel at the doctor’s office and they were talking about heart disease. It said that African American men are more prone to heart disease. I’m confused as to how someones skin color/sex has anything to do with this.

thats a good question. its maybe just genetics. chloƫ

It’s just genetics, like Asians tend to have black hair and redheads tend to be pale/freckled. Or that males tend to store weight around their stomach while females in their thighs, bum, arms etc.

Other examples: Korean people generally have a separate BMI chart (they are naturally smaller, and it is LESS healthy for them to be overweight) and African American’s tend to scar more easily and also tend to have more upraised scars.

Obviously there are ALWAYS exeptions. M*A*S*H
