Will using Nair to achieve a bald head lead to irritation or skin problems?

Getting tired of paying a barber to cut all my hair off and I don’t trust myself with a pair of clippers. I can only imagine walking the streets with a patchwork of unshaven stubble. Does anyone know if consistent use of Nair on the scalp will cause problems? Thanks.

no it shouldnt cause any problems…providing the first time you do it…you do a test patch and know that you have no reaction….but then if you have used it in the past with no drama it should be all good…..

Geez, do you really want to be using that stuff so close to your brain? I’d be worried about whatever is in that leeching into my scalp…sorry but I won’t even use it on my legs… :~)

I use it down yonder, so it shouldn’t be a problem, unless you have sensitive skin. You might want to use the “For Men” line, because it’s more gentle….DON’T RUB IT IN! Just spread a layer like mayo on a sandwich.

    VERY BAD IDEA!

Um…why do you want to be bald? The buzz look is cute I think. It works on Wentworth Miller. (Prison Break)

They actually make a cream that men can use its like Nair.. I think its a product for black men who get psuedofaliculits… my husband tried using it on his head but he didnt like it. He uses a womens razor.. the one that has the soap and the Razor all in one. He learned that trick from a fire fighter who regularly shaved his head. My husband has never had a knick, cut or scratch using that razor.. and he shaves himself bald. good luck

Stick with shaving after the clippers… Use the electric shaver you doubt yourself with a razor.

thats probably not the best idea. it could run into your eyes and will probably burn your scalp. have fun lol

My sister used to be a competitive swimmer and had to shave her arms a lot so decided to use Nair, the 1st time it was okay, the 2nd time it was just a little red and itchy, the 3rd time she used Nair her arms swelled up and had huge red bumps all over her arms, it looked like giant chicken pox and did not go away for like three weeks. It is probally NOT a good idea if you use nair on your head considering that would be even more sensitive skin.

i would certainly think not as the legs r more sensitive than ur head and women use it once a week for years and years.

My man is black and hates to get his hair shaved by the barber…he uses Magic (smooth) Its like Nair but made for African Americans

depends on your skin, but dont ! my husband wears his hair bald, and i love it, he never knew how to do it so he just practice and practiced, till hes a pro! he uses the new razor and gel FUSION (ORANGE) its awsome it comes vibrating and it works perfectly smooth and clean, so thats what i can think of and hint for those stubbles shave down dont shave up it goes rougher that way
